Chilean Cities Map Poster – Illustration

When I moved to my new house in Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt, I wanted to create a special poster I could display in the entrance of my new home. If you are not familiar with me, I am originally from Chile but I live in New Zealand with my family. So I created this Chilean map in which I placed the name of the cities inside to make the shape of the country. I made sure I placed the cities in the right location, and I spent hours looking at the Chilean map so I could make it as accurate as possible.
The map has been on my entrance door since September 2012, and I absolutely love it… This Illustration is available on my Etsy Shop
Cuando me mudé a mi nueva casa en Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt, quería crear un poster especial para poner en la entrada de mi nuevo hogar. Si usted no está familiarizado conmigo, yo soy de Chile, pero vivo en Nueva Zelanda con mi familia. Fue así que decidí crear este mapa de Chile en el que puse los nombre de las ciudades en su interior para crear la forma del país. Me aseguré de ubicar las ciudades en su lugar correcto y debo decir que pasé horas mirando el mapa de Chile para hacerlo lo más preciso posible.
El mapa ha estado en la entrada de mi casa desde septiembre de 2012, y me encanta… Esta ilustración está disponible en mi tienda Etsy
